Sedation assessment
Patient assessment and preparation for sedation will be done by us.
IV sedation is suitable for:
– Unpleasant and long procedures
– Patients with dental/needle anxiety and phobia, or gaggers
– Treatment that would otherwise take multiple visits
– Avoiding general anaesthesia at the hospital
Fees and payments
Patients will be billed directly for sedation. There is no Medicare rebate but patients can claim rebates on treatment codes 014, 928, 949, 942 from their private health fund.
